But speaking of wow- Mila Jovovich definitely wowed in Elie Saab. It was her first time presenting at the Oscars and she sure made a great first impression!
I almost always love what Michelle Williams is wearing and last night was no exception. She's so CUTE! She just looks and seems like such a sweetheart. Like we could totally be friends ;)
Here she is in Louis Vuitton looking as sweet as ever. Loving the brooch. Perfect touch!
Octavia Spencer looked so spectacular in Tadashi Shoji! What a great choice for her figure- I love it! Cream was really big this time at the Oscars. It so classic and pretty...
Another stunner in cream, Rooney Mara steps out of her usual severe black to wear this gorgeous dress by Givenchy Couture. I love this dress. I feel like it could be an amazing wedding dress btw!
Glen Close!! Wow mama, look at you. This is so great! Perfect shape, lovely color and totally age appropriate. I hope I look half as good...
George Clooney showed up with his own golden trophy. Stacy Keibler looking fantastic in Marchesa. Her dress fits so well and looks like liquid gold.
One of my absolute favorites of the evening was Viola Davis in Vera Wang. This photo doesn't do it justice I'm afraid. The color against her skin tone took my breath away. It was so perfect!! Her body is killer and this dress hugs it perfectly. Love love love!
This is a little better idea of the color...
And finally, my other favorite was actually behind the scenes. Giuliana Rancic knocked it out of the park with this TDF Tony Ward dress. Obsessed!
I don't want to cover the worst but I will make special mention for the ladies who are in desperate need of a cheeseburger...
Angelina channeling Mariah Carrey? Megan Fox? Weird.

Rose Byrne from Bridesmaids...

Viola makes me want to cut my hair right now! Love her

I agree with all your picks. Especially Rooney (yes, that would make a great wedding gown), Michelle and Milla. Does that woman even age? Apparently not.
I thouroughly enjoyed last night's red carpet fashion. SO many gorgeous gowns.

I LOVE Michelle Williams. She really does have such a sweet look to her. My all time fave red carpet look was her in that yellow Vera Wang dress at the 2006 Oscars. So beautiful. It didn't hurt that she had Heath Ledger by her side either! She's come a long way since Dawson's Creek.
Lovely selection of photos, I love Guiliana's outfit!
Check out my oscar post at www.styliststeph.blogspot.com.
I loved Guiliana's dress, it was so beautiful! My only thing was her lipstick was so dark, I'm not used to seeing her in that color and didn't love it. But the dress...flawless!
And yes, Angelina Jolie was WAY too skinny. It scares me to think that the camera adds LBs. In real life she must look in need of an intervention!
Michelle Williams was definitely my favorite. I love that color, it's so pretty and happy and looked great on her. Disagree on Viola Davis, I didn't like the dress and I don't know what's going on with her face.
Angelina Jolie is literally the worst, ever, of everything.
Glenn Close did look great.
Angelina embarrassed herself...how awful.
Can anybody tell me OuSiKa winner this year? I don't have an idea

Octavia always looks great. She has a fab. stylist. Agree about Angelina, was it really necessary? Kind of overkill. Michelle Williams looked like an angel.
My wife love Angelina' thighs were showing, especially her dress. Great pics. Thanks for sharing.
