YA!! 86 was a good year ;) I was 5 and hopped up on chocolate milk!
I had a '68 Mustang. I loved it but I had to sell it when we moved 4 yrs ago because I have too many vehicles and that was the one that made sense to sell. It was awesome driving that gorgeous teal blue vehicle with its loud rumbling powerful engine and having all the guys drool over it.
I also have an '86 bmw 2dr e30 which is also on the way to a new home.
I would love to own an older Mercedes as well, but I LOVE the 2 drs!

ahhh this is so awesome. you seriously rule! im currently saving up for my dream car right now. im half way there and strictly determined. but my choice is divided between a '64 chevy corvair which is soooo adorable or a '63 chevy pick up- soooo sexy! good luck and make sure to bring your own mechanic with you while shopping!

We have a 65 "Shelby" fast back Mustang that came to us fully restored and race ready. I know the feeling about having a classic car, there is NOTHING in the world like it :) it is like driving your fav Loub's every day!
My hubby was bummed that the stang is such a Dude Magnet, but it is awesome to here that there are still girly girls out there (like me) that love cars! good luck on your search, and make sure that you have a mechanic (you trust) check it thoroughly before you sign on the dotted line. There are some real lemons in disguise out there.
