I love dressing up and getting to be someone else for a night. Our friend has the best Halloween parties every year where our friends go all out and dress in amazing costumes. It's truly impressive and there's hardly a store-bought costume in sight. This year was no exception.
My two costumes this year were polar opposites. The first, my personal favorite, being a nerdy self conscious drummer from Aurora... better known as Garth Algar.

1) Garth costume was pure awesomeness!!!! Damn girl, you must a have a bigger-than-life personality not only because you pulled it off as you did, but owned it!!! Love a girl who is willing to compromise the typical Halloween sluttyness (at least in one of her parties, anyways ;-)) to go for something a little bit goofy and creative. BTW, LOVE the Iron Maiden Tee. Try it with a nice tulip skirt, a belt and your killer studded Louboutins.
2) El Chapulin is not a "Mexican thing" anymore. It is the Latin American Hero. Just like you Americans have your Superman we have him. He always saved the day despite his clumsiness and innocence. That's what we all love. We understand his bizarre sense of humor. It was such a beautiful tribute that Ben paid to him. Please tell him how your Peruvian reader appreciates his gesture.
