Studs are going to be so 'out and ugly' before the year is over, so it's now worth it. Buy something more classy and timeless like Pigalle or Very Privé :)

They're amazing, but studs are a trend, so I'd pass, ESPECIALLY for nearly a thousand dollars, and if money is tight. Get a cheaper pair, and stud them yourself, or wait. Most shoes do in fact go on sale ;) And remember, there will always be another to-die-for pair!
Argh! I've always wanted studded Loubs but every style I've tried on hasn't fit me...his stuff generally doesn't fit me. Boo! Um...so should I vote "get them so I can live through you vicariously"?

Save your money, especially if things are tight. The trend will go away. You propably will wear the shoes a few times and them stash them in the back of the closet. Not really money spent wisely. Also, keep a look out I am sure someone (Bakers, Steve M, Aldo, ect) will have their own pair of studded goodness for a lot cheaper.

I think I would pass on the shoes. At first glance, I'm like OMG! These are amazing! But as I keep looking at them, I find them to be TOO studded. I think it would have looked best with studs on the back or more concentrated in one area versus the whole shoe.
Plus they're nearly a grand and you can do a lot with that amount of money! Especially with our recession, there's so many sales going on.
I'd wait!

Ummm how about no? You could get black shoes JUST like those, and gets studs JUST like those. Sit on the floor, and superglue your heart out! It'd be so much more worth it!

I agree, wait for them to be on sale or make them yourself. I've never considered paying that much for a pair of shoes. Maybe sell some older shoes that you never wear anymore to justify the cost? Just some suggestions.

If there's something you're debating about buying, it's usually better not to! If you loved them enough that it was worth it, you wouldn't need to ask our advice, right? For something that expensive, it has to be a "I must have these RIGHT NOW" to make it worthwhile.

I am sure you already have a shoe with studs on them... and if you don't then you probably did and got rid of them. Wait until they go on sale, you know they will. If you still feel the same way got for them!
Well, my opinion won't be very useful, because I'd encourage everybody to by such shoes, whatever their financial status is :) It depends on how badly you need them :D
I'm quite sure however, that you're going to own a pair of it at least by the end of September...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! That's just too far.
I've seen so so many quality leather shoes sold in this very pretty THOUGH very standard design.
The ironic thing is if you brought a very similar pair of plain leather peep toe 5 inchers for approx. $110-$200 then you handed them over to a professional customiser who could put all the fancy studs on for you (and they could do this to your exact preference unlike Louboutin...) you would effectively end up spending way under half with the cost of the customising added on.
That's crazy isn't it!!!

It's so so so not worth it, especially when there are less expensive alternatives to choose from. I love Louboutin but I certainly think they've gone too far with these. I'd expect to see that extreme price tag on one of their couture designs. These are pretty but as I said before SO STANDARD.
Hope you've made the most sensible decision. Go and buy a couple pairs of gorgeous heels with that kind of money.!!!

I am so glad that most of your comments are about how I should pass on these. I think you guys are right... these are beautiful but SO overpriced. There is really nothing extra special or unique about them.
I WILL however get them if they go on sale!!!
I have shelled out maaaad money for the studded ariella clou boots when they came out and def. wore the kashizzle out of them. so: i'd say, if you reeeeally love them, get them.
but: these are not quite as unique as the ariella boots, imho. how about treating yourself to some alex wangs or margielas instead?
they are beautiful (and I LOVE studs), but they will not sell out, I don't think...you can definitely get them on sale at the end of the season! If money was not an issue, you could get them now, but since things are tight...just wait it out :)

I didn't see a place to vote but I these are major no in my book. There's something about the spikes that look so cheap to me. I'm just not a fan of $1000 cheap trill shoes, especially in this economy. Save your money for something you can REALLY sink your teeth into.
